Introducing the PPG Color Work Station

Pittsburgh Paints, a PPG Industry brand, recently launched and began distributing their interactive Color Work Station to retail stores across the country, including Norberg Paints in Sioux Falls, S.D.

The PPG Color Work Station is a digital retail palette display that will help simplify the color selection process for customers using a variety of tools.

The 42-inch digital touch screen display comes with thousands of pre-programmed colors to choose from; located within the display are over a thousand additional physical swatch cards to choose from. The touch screen offers dozens of stock room images and colors to paint with on-screen, allowing customers to shop by color or project type. Customers are able to play with different key and accent colors, including ones they normally may not have considered to see what combinations look best.

Once they have found their desired color combinations, the customer can email swatches to their friends, family members or a personal email address, go home and paint their house virtually.

From the comfort of home, customers can visit The Voice of Color’s website, create an account, upload pictures of their own rooms (interior or exterior) and test the paint combinations they picked out in-store on their walls virtually. This way, they will know roughly how the combinations look before making a purchase.

Pittsburgh Paints’ Color Work Station helps customers make a better, more informed decision about which color of paint to purchase. We at Norberg Paints believe this tool will be an asset to our staff and customers alike.

So, whether or not you are preparing for a painting project, do yourself a favor and come check out this new, handy tool at your local Norberg Paints store.
